Budget (including currency): 930 usd

Country: Indonesia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Only for gaming ( Poe 2, fighting games, few AAA titles and upcoming monster hunter wilds )

Other details right now i got Intel i5 12400 + Amd rx6800 with 16 gb of ram, playing on 2k monitor. I want to upgrade because i feel like my 6800 is dying on new Title like Poe2 (frame drops on certain maps) S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 (avg fps under 60 in 2k).
is it good upgrade to RTX 5070 TI or should i just upgrade my cpu to AMD Ryzen 5 7800x3d with 32 gb of ddr5 ram ?

How are you faring while play these games hardware wise, i.e. what is your bottleneck? You might be okay GPU wise but youre maxing out your RAM and need more. Probably better to diagnose your issues before throwing money at another way to solve it when, if wrong, it might keep happening after your upgrade

Play a 5 min or so session in your hardest to run game and have HWinfo running in the background then send screenshots of all stuff in here if youre unsure

System specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D [-30 PBO all core]

GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX NITRO+

Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB 32GB 6000MHz CL32 DDR5

Storage: 2TB SN850X, 1TB SN850 w/ heatsink, 500GB P5 Plus (OS Storage)

Case: 5000D AIRFLOW

Cooler: Thermalright Frost Commander 140

PSU: Corsair RM850e

Case Fans: Fractal Prisma (120 x6, 140 x3)

It looks like your CPU is overheating, probably causing the stuttering, what cooler are you using?

Also, ooc, what power plan are you using in windows?

No, keep it on balanced, high performance will just run it at max all the time instead of being able to downclock when its being unused

Throw the AIO onto the 12400F and see if the games run without stuttering, or if your due and want an upgrade anyway then thats also an option

tergantung ama game nya sih

klo main nya resolusi thinggi kyk 1440p ama seting tinggi di game AAA paling gausah up dari 12400f krn bebanya jg sebagain besar di vga

klo main nya simulator atau rts kyk factorio, assetto corsa, tarkov, dll. itu mah selalu beban nya di proci nya, paling gausah up vganya utk lihat fps lbh tinggi

-tr

depends on the games you play

for high resolution stuff and high settings in triple A titles probably not gonna need an upgrade from the 12400f when the gpu is the main bottleneck anyways

for sims or rts like factorio, assetto corsa, tarkov, etc. wont even need to upgrade the 6800 to see the benifits
