It doesn't exist yet but it will. I am going to have two systems and swap the same 780 in and out of them. Of course I will power the system down and wait a bit before removing the card, that is not my issue. My problem is how Windows will respond to this. Knowing that it makes your key invalid if you change hardware a lot I am worried. What do you think? Will it be OK or not?

I am a member of the PCMasterRace. I am terribly sad to announce that I own a PeasantStation 3 Super Slim. it's in a drawer away from my glorious PC.

What? You can still use the same Windows key if you switch out your GPU, or CPU, or RAM, or PSU, or any other pieces of hardware, other than the HDD and mobo of course.

it will only make your win key invalid if you change the mobo. everything else should be fine. and Microsoft is nice enough to reset your key once if you get a new mobo.

As long as they both have Nvidia drivers on them you are completely fine.

That's only if you change a motherboard. GPUs don't matter at all, you could do it 2438927423984723984729847298 times a day.

But not a single time more, after that it goes nuclear...
