My BIOS reports that my memory speed is 6000, and HWINFO 64 reports that the maximum supported memory clock is unlimited, but the current memory clock is only 3000!....is this a problem?

DDR in DDR5 stands for Double Data Rate.  So if its saying 3000Mhz its actually 6000Mhz.  3000Mhz x2 🙂

If you have EXPO or XMP Enabled that is.

No Problem 🙂  You are not the first to be confused about this.

If you have XMP or EXPO enabled and it says 3000Mhz,  its actually running at 6000mhz 🙂

On the computer I am using now I run DDR5 5600Mhz.

HwInfo reports 2800Mhz.   2800x2 = 5600.
