Help finding a suitable GPU

Absolute newbie at PC building here. So basiclly I own a Gateway All-In-One computer model 4930 (yikes ik) and I'm trying to find atleast some kind of gaming gpu that tiny/slim and affordable (below 5 cm in height when layed flat) but trying to find one has been difficult for me considering there is a  component being in the way on my motherboard (one I have no idea if It's vital for it to be there) and the sheer size for the card to even fit in the case. Also I'm not sure what type of PCI slots I have :p

I can't guarantee anything for an all-in-one because they don't always adhere to standard case sizing and such, but you can get a gt 730 for like $10-$30 on ebay (at least in the US), or an rx 550 for closer to $50. Not exactly sure what CPU you have, but as far as I can tell from some rough googling, both of these should be good enough for an older computer like that, and both are low profile, and should fit into a small case like that.

Based from what I heard from the previous owners, they haven't cracked open the computer and replaced any parts. Hope this helps narrow it down

As for thr gt 730, after a quick search the height seems to surpass the casing already with over 12.7 cm whilst the height space on my case is around 5.3 cm at highest

that machine is 15 years old , what were you expecting/want to be able to do with it with a gpu upgrade?

 

it also appears from your photos only the pci-e 1x slot has a break away panel so you aren't going to be getting any sort of meaningful gpu in there.

Well, if gaming isn't gonna cut it, I have a hobby for creating models on blender and such so mabye there's a gpu for modelling?

the machine is 15 years old. theres a pretty solid chance you can find a free computer being thrown away that is double or triple the speed. unless you are building a retro computer then don;t considering fixing or putting any more money into it. it;s not a car or a house, it aready doubled its expected lifespan
