I have an Asus X670E-A originally paired with 2X16 T Force 5600 CL32

I bought 2X32 Corsair Dom 6600 CL32

Dom works with auto setting. I tried to add the T Force into the other slots to have 96. Won't post.

I'm thinking of taking the Dom back and getting another 2 sticks of T Force. Will it even post? Is the no post due to having 4 sticks, or having different sticks?

Getting AM5 to post with 4 sticks of RAM is very difficult.  We always recommend to get 2xRAM sticks instead of 4 for AM5.

Its very possible that it might not post with 4 sticks of T Force RAM.

This is also why we have started seeing 2x24GB and 2x48GB sticks of DDR5 to get higher capacity while using 2 sticks.

Also anything above 6000Mhz might also be difficult to get stable.

The sweetspot is 6000Mhz CL30.

Bit of both. 4 sticks in general is very hard on the Ryzen 7000 memory controller, so even when having the exact same kit can have issues getting it to work, and having them be different sticks makes it even worse. Your case especially is hard because it's triple rank memory which is even harder on the memory controller, and likely the two different kits have different memory ICs because of their vastly different speed bins. Basically, everything is stacking up against this setup working, especially at any semblance of a respectable speed.

Do that, 6600MT/s RAM makes absolutely no sense to get on a Ryzen platform anyway, it's just slower than a significantly cheaper 6000 CL30 kit because of the 2:1 mode latency penalty.

But don't do this. It's more likely to work since the sticks will at least be the same (assuming you buy the same speed bin and capacity, that has more of an impact than who made the kit), but it's still likely going to need some effort to get it to work at respectable speeds. If you really want more RAM, get a higher capacity kit from the get go and don't use 4 DIMMs, it's just not worth the headache getting it functional. If you need 96GB of RAM, get a 2x48GB kit, those can be had at 6000 CL30 as well.

A limiting factor for RAM is it has to be

1. Available at Microcenter

2. White

3. RGB
4. No slower or higher CL

If I have to 2X32 it looks like the only other choice is 6400 G Skill, which saves $100.
