Whenever I launch a application from the Epic Games launcher I get a bsod. It tends to bsod right after I allow easy anticheat to check my PC.

The bsod is BAD_POOL_CALLER. I've already reinstalled Windows and erased all partitions but it's still happening.

I've also installed some new ram recently which might be causing the problem but I don't think it's that since all steam games run perfectly fine.

Anything helps

Thanks!

Are these games on the same drive or a different drive?

If it's a different one, Steam games don't need to be reinstalled and will just work. Epic games however though, need to be redownloaded and reinstalled.

I wiped all drives, and now the games are on the same drives as before, steam isn't detecting the other drives so I might have to reformat my drives.

If that doesn't work I'll try a epic Games application on my C drive instead of D or E.

A different drive shouldn't be an issue. I was just making sure you reinstalled the epic ones. I purposely keep my games on other drives so I won't have redownload or reinstall them, however I only use Steam. My son uses Epic as well though, and his games do work on the other drive, and other than needing to be reinstalled after a fresh install they run fine from other drives.

Well in the time since I last replied I bought a new epic Games game, installed it on the C drive. And it won't launch on the C drive. Just to make sure I used both of my current sticks (one at a time) on all 4 slots and it crashed every time (it didn't on C drive because it wouldn't launch). I used my old team group 16gb kit (2x8) and it still didn't launch.

Edited addition: turns out instead of just not launching it just takes longer to bsod with BAD_POOL_CALLER
