For some reason I am having problems with mics. It is only on one site, Cambly. But they keep blaming me. It happens with my headset and webcam mic. All speed tests are more than fast enough. Cambly's own tech check shows plenty of speed for video but zero for audio. I have not seen reports of other Cambly teachers having trouble, This is most perplexing. If I am having a bandwidth issue, shouldn't affect everything, not just audio? I did run a microphone check on another site and it worked fine.

Any ideas?

What is the problem with the mic? Audio cutting in and out? No audio at all? Microphone not detected?

The fact it doesn't work on just one site is a bit odd though.

No audio from my mic. I did a trick one one mic test site. I set is up to hear myself and shared that screen with my student. He finally heard my through that site! The problems are that my voice is delayed making it hard on myself. And I cannot share any other screen at the same time.

I did that a few times. Cambly works best on chrome. I reset the permissions, nothing... (sigh)

Are you using a blocker extension? Try turning that off if you are.

Okay. I turned off the ad blocker on Cambly. I will see if that clears the problem with my next student.
