Looks very good!

I recommend going with something newer than the Samsung 970 NVME drive, look at a 990 EVO, it will be a bit more expensive but a lot newer (pcie 4.0).

Personally I would also go with a different PSU vendor like Corsair or SeaSonic, but I'm not sure who MSI's builder is, could be fine (MSI is relatively new to PSUs).

Ubuntu 24.04 on Ryzen 5 5600x and GTX 1070

Mint 22 on Razer Blade i7-11800h and RTX 3070

Yep, and I agree with @axxi I'm not too into RGB but you probably need a hub for all of those fans.

Did you make sure the case comes with a fan hub? I recommend watching a unboxing/review and looking out for any sort of hub, if you don't find one, you'll most likely need to buy one separately.

I added an AIO to make the aesthetics a bit nicer, and also double checked to make sure the case has a hub.

How would you plan to install the AIO in that case? I'm asking because it seems like you want to top mount it as exhaust, in that case you'd need to reverse the rear fan to be intake to retain a slightly positive pressure inside of the case, if you do, I'd look into getting a reverse blade fan to keep the RGB side exposed. The normal rear fan could be mounted, on the PSU shroud? if that location supports fan mounting, you can have one fan blowing fresh air towards the GPU.

Do you plan on getting white or colored cable extensions for that case?

I made no sense of anything you just said 😭
Don't mean to be a bother but could you please explain it a little better for me?

Where do you want to mount the liquid cooler? If up top, it would be beneficial to flip the rear fan.

Correct, I want to mount the AIO on the top of the case. I plan on having 3 intakes and 4 exhaust, does that sound about right? (front 3 intake, AIO+rear fan exhaust). or does the aio always have to be intake?

I'd reverse that combo, you always want more positive pressure in your case. 4 intake (sides) 3 exhaust (through the aio)
