HDMI Switch question

Ok, so I need 1 input (chromecast) an 2 outputs (Monitor and TV)

And just "swap" input and output? What I mean is set chromecast on output and then use the inputs for the TV and the monitor?

I don't want to output to both at the same time... (And if most of the other posts I've read about this is true, the splitters limit the audio!)

But why can't you swap them? I mean, the plugs is the same, and a switch as quite the basic thing, isn't it?

You can't swap inputs and outputs, what you need is a HDMI Splitter...
