Can't Increase PCIe Bus interface for GPU

AMD Athlon 3000G 

12 Gigs DDR4 2400Mhz

GT 730 2 GB GDDR5 ASUS 
MSI A320M-A PRO MAX (MS-7C52)

Some 950 Watt PSU (Its kinda old so I forgot the brand and I know its a little too much for what I have but it was cheap when I bought it)
256 GB NVME M.2 for OS

1 TB Seagate HDD

240 GB Western Digital SSD

With your CPU you will only get maximum of x4 on your pci-e slot. You can try forcing it to that speed in the bios. Maybe reseat the card, clean the slot with some compressed air. Also look for damage on both the card and motherboard

If I'm reading the specs right, the board's PCIe 3.0 slot is limited to x4 with an AMD Athlon 3000G, so I don' think you can get x8.

 

How did you test that it's running at x2?
