Strange Canadian creatures

So I just came across this, something probably old hat to Canadians as the very strange is normal to them.  I think the northern lights have zapped their minds to see certain things as perfectly normal, like snow.

 

I am impelled not to squeak like a grateful and frightened mouse, but to roar...
