Well i guess it matters on what you're looking for.

When i first started getting into TV's and buying them, i would usually only buy the dime a dozen 1080p 60hz, but in all honesty, they are not worth your time, or money.

I would try to find a Plasma if you're trying to save money, and look more dynamic, and deeper colors; plasmas also have god damn great blacks!

Always limit the hertz to 120 hertz, or  60 hertz zones; like most plasmas have "600" hertz, but they are really little designated zones of 60 that add up around 600.

You want a fast response time to; mine is 0.1 milliseconds; which was well worth the money.

Don't buy sony; it's not the 90's, and all of there tech is low quality junk.

Are you sure you don't mean 1 ms? There isn't a .1 ms tv to my knowledge

It's not a full HD, so maybe that's why?

Online it says this

"The SAMSUNG PN42B450 720p Plasma HDTV looks great on or off. It features a beautiful, black glossy frame and thanks to e-panel technology the picture quality is simply outstanding. FilterBright™ reduces glare so you get a great view day or night and 600Hz Subfield Motion with a .001ms response time delivers a clear picture for fast-moving scenes."

IT was the buying point for me; i had the choice between a mediocre Panasonic 1080, but decided to go with this; best tv i have ever had for movies, and console games (prefer monitors for games, and think that's where they should be played' the smaller the better.)

He's talking about a Plasma. There's practically no pixel response time on a plasma. So if they rated it at 0.1ms that would seem accurate to me.

Oh wow. I never knew that. Thanks for the info
