I want to get a riser for my 3090, because it overheats my ssd lol. I found this one, but idk how legit it is, and i don't knows if i need a 15cm or a 20cm one. I also don't know if i need an IO bracket, since the case which i have (volcano spacer apex midi) says it supports vertical GPU mounting

Unless your case PCI bracket at the back is rotateable, or if there is a vertical oriented PCI bracket (using this method will most likely increase GPU temp).
You will need a vertical GPU bracket.

As for PCIE riser, not that I ever used one, but I lean more to big name ones, since it can cause wonky problems from what I've seen/heard.

Brand one's cost ridiculous prices from what i've found. Ik that it may slightly increase the temps, but then it won't heat up the ssd

Are you able to move the SSD to another slot?

And do you have vertical mounting slots?

Also how is your VRAM temp looking while in the normal orientation?

Is this a problem that could be solved a different way? Better airflow? Do you have some sort of heatsink on it? etc etc?

You seem to be able to put a fan under your gpu? Even if there are no specific mounting holes, should help temps

Also do you have an AIO? All fan slots populated?

The SSD overheats even worse in the slot under the GPU, because the air is pushed against the heatsink by the GPU fans. My VRAM temps are around 75 degrees which is perfectly fine for a 3090 from what I know, the airflow is perfectly fine and I don't think a fan under the GPU would help in any way, as it would only cool the bottom half of it. The case didn't come with an entire vertical mounting bracket, but only this thing, which might have something to do with it, but I'm not sure.

Anyway I already ordered the riser and bracket from aliexpress for like $40, hope it works lol
