Display issue HELP PLEASE

Go to solution Solved by jaslion,

Looks like the usual razer blade screen failiures. Good job on taking care of it well that it lasted 3 years or so thats quite rare for a blade. May be more likely it's the display cable here but doing that repair sucks.

Either way for the future don't buy blades their failiure rates are stupid high sadly. On paper and on first glance they look and feel great but in reality their internal quality is dogshit.

Hi,

this is on my razer blade 15 (2020) rtx2060

latest windows updates

booted in safe mode

updated graphics drivers

opened up the case a wiggled the ribbon cable for the display.

but still I have these odd horizontal anomalies across different colors. As you can see black and white look fine. But every other color has this effect going from left to right. (Ref and purple is very easy to see in the pics) And it makes in game graphics and especially reading text in games a complete eyesore and headache machine.

please any advice would help! I’m really hoping I don’t have to buy a new laptop already :(
