so how is intels rma ? is it easy?

No idea. Never had to use it, because they did their shit right.

I've never given much thought to this because their CPUs don't really fail like mobos and GPUs do...

 

but their 3 year warranty probably does involve a lot of hoops to jump thru. First and foremost, if you rip the huge sticker with the serial number/model info/barcode on the box, I'm pretty sure that you can kiss your warranty goodbye. A lot of people have echoed this. Second, if you attempt anything of an OC, you can probably also say goodbye to your warranty. Dunno about voltage damage.

 

If you've always kept your locked CPU within spec, used it as it was meant to be used, then why not try the RMA?

I haven't had any experience but know someone who had "typical" experience with it, not good but not bed either. Hope that helps.

I run my own indie game company called Color Dragon Studios where we are currently making a 2d platformer game called Small Earth.
