Hello LTT.
i have a serious question, i just brought 2 new Corsair Vengance 16GB - Kit with 3600 MHz, in DDR4 right.
but apperently my goddam motherboard woth take full average of it. here are some Pics from the task manager. and you can see the CPU and GPU is just as fine still, but the memory just won't speed up and i cuoldnt do it in BIOS, does it really mean that it can't take more than 2100 MHz?

do you know how to find out what there whitelist has of maybe some sticks that can be used?

You may have to pick different RAM, if there's no setting for enabling XMP in your BIOS.

As an aside, your processor only supports up to 3200MT/s DDR4. (4800 MT/s DDR5, but you'd need a whole new motherboard for that.) If you can find used OEM 3200 for a good price, take it. You won't see any benefit from RAM that's faster than that. (Especially not on an OEM motherboard with no overclocking settings.)

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Other than ram made for these no clue. Id say have a google around and see if anyone luckes into something.

Either way not a huge performance loss.
