CPU Upgrade?

Hello!

I am planning to upgrade my CPU (12100f) in the US, and I made a post on this a while ago and settled on a 13600kf. However, it seems that it's out of stock on Amazon. I don't really want to buy the more expensive 13600k, so I'm not sure what to do. My budget is 250 USD and would prefer to go cheaper, as I also want to buy a cable management rack since there's just an extremely large tangled mess of wires behind my monitor. Maybe you guys could recommend one of those too? I need a large one and want a clamp system, as I don't want to screw it under my desk. Or should I not buy one... I am not sure. I do not want to spend more than 20 USD on it. Or should I not upgrade at all? My 12100f is kinda bottlenecking my GPU, and it's becoming more noticeable. Thanks in Advance!

From a quick look, they currently have the 12700K on offer at a reasonable price, looks like the 13600KF may have sold out?

I'd probably just drop in a 12600KF for $129 then.  It's a sizeable enough uplift over the 12100F, and nice and cheap.

I mean, I do want a larger uplift, and the 13600kf is equivalent to the 12900kf. Should I just buy the 13600k? I wouldn't mind too much.

If you don't mind the spend, then it's a great CPU.  The 13600K was arguably Intel's reasonably best gaming CPU.

Ok. Do you have any recommendations for wire management for under 20 bucks?

I like ones like this, where you can put wires in and out anywhere and zip tie to the actual wire management guide, as opposed to more solid ones.

Should I get the 14600kf instead? Its only about 10 bucks more. I don't think its a huge difference though...

It's give or take.  Not much upgrade over the 13600K but also not much money.

 

I'd get it just for the generational impact, little as it is.

If he’s gaming the 12700k would be better suited becuase of the extra 2 e cores 

 

if your gaming video editing and streaming then 13600k may slightly benafit

I mean, I will mainly use it for gaming, but I might use it for light productivity later, but wouldn't the 13600k still perform better than the 12700k?

I also got a 500w PSU. It should work, but barely. I need to replace it anyway.
