There was a video posted a while ago where they updated the server for his kids and there was a device he used that allowed him to run one cable to the room and connect video, usb, audio etc… I believe it was a white box from ubiquity but I could be wrong, does anyone know what this is from can’t find the video or what is something that could work

As far as I'm aware ubiquiti does not make such product. Do you know what type of cable he used, Thunderbolt? Ethernet? Fiber? There are many solutions depending on the the type of the single cable

You mean the KVM extenders for the rackmount gaming machines in the basement? It's a tempting idea, but very expensive and unnecessary for the vast majority of use cases.

There are boxes which extends HDMI and USB signals via a single Ethernet cable, already available on AliExpress, and they look like this:

I've once noticed a pair of these boxes located on different floors, to monitor from and manage an NVR remotely. Note that the image quality may degrade with cheap boxes.😃

Note that these are not Ethernet devices! They require their own cable run, directly between the two boxes. Connecting them to an existing Ethernet network won't work.
