Budget (including currency): $2000-2500 range

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cyberpunk 2077, BG3, Fortnite, Roblox, etc. maybe light video editing (I've been focused on gaming system rn, but I would like to get into video editing too, so idk if it'd be fine for light editing/hobby too until I can eventually get a pc specific for vid editing/photo)...

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'd like to bulk buy during Black Friday sales. Ig holiday sales my goal. Either this month or next month. IPS 1440p 144-180hz ?-?

Got mobo/gpu on sale couple months back... want to check that all parts in list work together.

Also was considering 850W Super flower III psu, since online communties mention it should be enough, but some ppl also say 1000w psu for safey and newegg increased W suggestion to 1200/1300w seems like overkill, I did change parts list a bit recently, but using parts calculators still estimates around 650-730w so idk.

You want low profile RAM if using a dual tower cpu cooler so that the heatsinks don't impede said cooler. ATX 3.0 or 3.1 for these RTX 40XX cards due to the adapter. This case down below gives you plenty of room to work with, especially for today's gpu's.

build seems good, there are defiantly optimizations that can be made but overall the build is good, however i thin maybe get a better SSD, got something with a dram chip. i usually recommend P5 plus or 980evo, there are others though.

Thanks for feedback, and I'll check out the ssd recommendations u mentioned and look into dram too. : )

Thanks for the feedback, will add in the lowprofile ram. I didn't know bout atx 3 or 3.1 for psu, so I'll look into that, thank you!

1000W from a good brand is plenty! I'm running my 7800X3D + RTX3080Ti (more power hungry than a RTX4080S) on an 850W without any problems. (Corsair HX850 Platinum)

I've got my RTX4080S TV rig running on a BeQuiet Straight 1000W Platinum - it is COMPLETE overkill for the rig (only 5800X3D, so probably peaks ~50% load), but I wanted something that would be fine for a CPU upgrade at some point and I liked the 12V HP dedicated socket on the PSU.... the BeQuiet Pure (1000W Gold) would have done the job fine, saved be about £50 and still probably would never spin up the fan!

Main rig: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX3080Ti FE, 32Gb Teamgroup Create-T DDR5-6000C30, AC Freezer3 280mm AIO, Asrock Steel Legend X670E, M.2 2Tb Samsung 990 Pro, M.2 1Tb WDSN550, SATA 8Tb WD80EFAX, Corsair HX850, LianLi O11 Air Mini + 3x NF-A14's, MSI MPG 271QRX (27"/1440P/360Hz), Gigabyte M27Q (27"/1440P/170Hz), Asus PA248 (24"/1200P/60Hz), G815 kbd, G Pro X Superlight 2, Audezee Maxwell.

Games room "TV rig": 5800X3D, AC Freezer2 280mm AIO, ASUS Prime B450M, RTX4080S w/iChill AIO, 32Gb TridentZ DDR4-3600C14, M.2 500Gb & 1Tb WDSN550, 8Tb WD80EFAX, BeQuiet Straight 1000W,  LianLi O11 Air Mini, LG G4 (55"/4K/120Hz), G815 kbd, G502 mouse, LG G1 Soundbar / Audezee Maxwell.

Lounge HTPC: Minisforum UM760 Slim, Ryzen 5 7640HS, 16Gb DDR5, 1Tb M.2, LG C2 (42"/4K/120Hz), Logitech Touch K400.
Laptop: LOQ16, RTX4060, 16Gb DDR5, 2x 2Tb SN990 M.2.

NAS: Synology 1812+, 3Gb RAM, 3x16Tb Seagate EXOS RAID5, 1Tb MX500 cache, 3x3Tb WDRED RAID6, 120Gb SSD cache.

Yeah, it definitely helps getting feedback from others, my friend also said 1000w psu good and others online said. I did recalculate the w power too since I changed some parts and 700-799 estimate is close to 850w so definitely better breathing room with 1000w people have mentioned for spikes/workload if diff stuff or even for upgrades, but yeah it's better than cutting it close with the parts I have.

That's good ur set up works out for u and yeah, it's nice to be able to have more room for upgrading too.

Seems Be quiet! is a popular rec so I'ma go with that, mulitple ppl have suggested it, also since the super flower leadex in 1000w I researched more apparently isn't compatible connector wise with my parts anyway. Glad it's a good price too.
