Hello,

I have a specific CPU optimization setup for gaming (Rainbow 6 Siege) where I use Process Lasso to limit all background processes (*) to just 2 logical cores (core 0 with hyperthreading enabled, so logical processors 0 and 1). The remaining 7 P-cores are assigned to the game, with the last of these also having hyperthreading (HT) enabled, so the game has access to 8 cores total as this is the best setup I have gotten with as little micro stutters as possible (without having to go into the bios and disable HT and the e cores every time I want to play a game). I have my E-cores not disabled but not set to any process during gaming since they can limit P-core speeds due to power draw limitations on my laptop but, system tasks have full access to all 32 logical processors (because I can't limit system tasks in Process Lasso). My TCC offset is set to 85C (so max CPU temp is 85C). My laptop is a Dell G15 5530 with i9 13900hx and 4060 mobile. The first core (logical processors 0 and 1) runs at max utilization during gaming due to handling all background tasks. Is this max utilization on core 0 harmful to my CPU? For context, this is an 8P 16E configuration. Thanks for your help in advance!

CPU Tune:

Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 - disabled

Processor Core IccMax - 142.50A (My way of limiting VID requests to 1.40V)

Turbo Boost Short Power Max - disabled

Turbo Boost Power Max - 191W (Stock Alienware Performance configuration)

Turbo Boost Power Time Window - 128 seconds

Locked P core ratio - 49x

Edit:

I want to rephrase my question: Is max utilization on core 0 for long periods of time (like couple hours straight every other day or something) going to damage the core over a long period of time (like over the span of a couple years).
