Looking at buying some used SSD's in bulk, ive got 2 options right now. Wondering if anyone has suggestions.

Option 1: Micron 5100 ECO 480GB SSD

Option 2: Intel DC S3500 600GB SSD

I can purchase more of the microns in bulk and at a better price per GB (micron is $0.0345/GB, intel is $0.05/GB)

They are going in a server application. Im leaning towards the Micron ones because I can get more than 16 of them and keep my server with all matching drives.

Thoughts?

All (relatively) low IOPS applications, so I don't think it really matters IMHO. I'd go with whatever's cheaper — the Micron drives in this case. They're both good drives.

"Not breaking it or making it worse is key."
