ASRock's quality control may be lacking... The threaded inserts for the CPU cooler on a board I have here have issues. I have one that fell out entirely, and one that was pressed in at an angle.

Apparently I'm not using the I'm not using the correct terms to find the information I need. I believe these just get glued in with some sort of adhesive? Can someone point me in the correct direction?

What MB CPU combo is this?

Looks more like it should be for a CPU retaining clamp and don't they usually have a backplate?

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

Don't forget to tag or quote in your reply if you want me to know you've answered or have another question.

No backplate, it's a thread insert that the cooler screws to. It's a NUC I'm modifying. It's a BOX-155H, Ultra 7 155H that I've been using for OPNsense. It's had a few cores that run really hot though, which got me to looking into it some.
