I've been thinking about building a mini ITX server, I'm currently running my server on a extremely outdated build that barely meets the minimum system requirements. (Mainly use it to backup media, and to host my plex server on.) This case fits my needs quite well because I'm going to be out of the country most of the summer and do not want a unreliable system running when I'm gone for long periods of time. So I what I was thinking about is updating my current main rig and moving it into the lower case completely separate from the mini itx form factor server. However in the video he mentions that the top case included does not include I/O and power/reset buttons but he said you can buy them aftermarket and install it. Does anyone know where I can find this, I have looked on newegg, ncix etc and cannot find it anywhere even on coolermasters site.

@mcclintock Welcome to the LTT Forum.

Why do you want to build a rig in that?

I think the case is the 915R/F model you're looking for.

I wouldn't use it, I would just get a regular case like a Source 210 and use that instead. Also I would recommend getting an ATX motherboard because it will have more expansion so more drive capacity.

If you want us to help you pick parts, give us a budget, location, whether you need an OS, a keyboard, mouse, or monitor and he should be able to help. Also how many drives you would want to use.

I was thinking about doing this because I like the idea of them being together yet separate Is what drew me into the idea. The server I need doesn't have to be a power house or anything like that just efficient enough to hold some drives and be more energy efficient. The 915R/F both come with the front I/O but I do not want to have to spend money to buy the 935 Full tower   case that comes with the 915 without any I/O and than buy an additional 915R to get I/O. This is what I was thinking http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PpPCD3  build the mini itx home server in the top and have my existing  main rig in the bottom case.
