Why does iOS keyboard suck?

Hi all,

 

This is not about the Keyboard text replacement. Don't come at me with that.

 

I don't know how many people have noticed this about the iOS keyboard but the words saved by the user while typing saves by per app. Say, I use Whatsapp, Instagram and I type some words in Whatsapp and tap on the word displayed on the word predictor. Now, I'm using Whatsapp and I use the word on different chat and it works fine. In Instagram if i use the word it auto corrects it to some other word and again I have to type it and tap on the word predictor to save it. Why is this like this? I haven't had a problem with Gboard on Android.

 

And one more thing. Why doesn't the iOS keyboard history shared between two devices with same Apple ID? I own an iPhone 11 and iPad 10th gen and it irritates me that the floating keyboard layout switched the special character key and emoji key between OSes. I really don't know Why I even bothered to get an iPhone.

Oh yeah... I had a OnePlus 6T for nearly 5 years time, used Gboard - was perfect. Now got a Samsung S24U, installed Gboard - it's perfect. 

But I have iPhone for work and f* me that keyboard and autocorrect, word prediction is bad. Hate it, hate it, hate it 😄
