Hi guys,

I turned my PC (custom PC running windows 11) on today and my Bluetooth is nowhere to be found. Usually, my headphones (Sony WH-1000XM5's) would automatically connect via Bluetooth after I turn my computer on, or I can manually connect them in the little control centre menu thing at the bottom right of the screen on my desktop (see image). The Bluetooth symbol has completely disappeared from there though, and I'm not sure how to get it back. I've restarted the computer, shut it down and unplugged it from the wall for a few minutes - but nothing. I looked in the device manager but it's become part of the 'hidden devices' that I have to manually get to show.

I saw a Reddit post on this topic but I don't think the fixes from that are working for me (See "Bluetooth disappeared and I've tried everything I've seen online. Windows 11").

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

have you tried turning it on and off? (the computer)

also in windows settings should be a Bluetooth option,  see if you can turn that on and off too. (don't know where it is in windows 11 because i have windows 10 control panel)

Yes, I had tried turning it off and just to be sure also tried unplugging the PC (leaving it unplugged for several hours). Bluetooth won't come back.

In terms of settings, when I go to add a device (my previous devices weren't visible for some reason), it gives me the following pop-up (see image). I have tried updating Windows, but it seems I am on the latest version. I have also looked at the device manager and can't find any Bluetooth option at all, including when I select the option to 'show hidden devices'.
