Budget (including currency): 300.00

Country: USA

Current Build:
New Case: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09HZJHS9C/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_10?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
Cooling: Fans
Motherboard: MAG X570S TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI
Memory: DDR 4 96GB

So I'm moving cases to the one link above. I was looking for a mobo using some of my current stuff to make it cheap(er), so I wanted to get some input on also having Wi-Fi built in. I thought I came here to get some feedback. Anything good with fans as well as motherboard?

To be honest that CPU deserves that board, You could step down to a B550M board although even AM4 boards have a bit of an "ITX" tax compared to their M-ATX and ATX counterparts. You maybe able to find some MSI, ASRock, Asus, and Gigabyte offerings on ebay with that chipset anywhere from $80-150 depending on features and how clean like new it is. Maybe try micro centre? Unfortunately as a European I am not allowed access the site so I couldn't check it for you.

I'm curious as to what you meant exactly by trying to make it cheaper? Changing out a motherboard generally isn't a cost saving measure.

It won't fit the case that I'm exchanging it with so I have to get a smaller motherboard. Can you use parts picker for motherboard ideas?

Yeah alright fair enough, here's what I could find on PCPP I even included the ones with no price as I've noticed that site isn't always aware of what vendors actually have in stock.

Best of luck, I'd really encourage you to try and stretch to an x570 board so you can get the most out of your CPU and GPU. But if you can't stretch to those prices, and they are rough, then the B550 will be serviceable.

Nothing to do with the price it just the new case won't fit that board that really the issue.

Oh okay, my bad I read you all wrong. I am very sorry about that. I thought you were equating a step down in chipsets to a savings of some sort.

Nah keeping everything just need to find something that will fit in the case for a mobo.
