Project: DNS Server Testing

I am evaluating DNS servers capabilities to block unsafe or unwanted content for my family. I want to run the DNS servers through some tests to see what is blocked and what is allowed. Are there any websites designed for this kind of testing? I found https://d3ward.github.io/toolz/adblock . And I'm seeing one called https://canyoublockit.com/ , but can't find any info about them.

I personally have only used an app called DNS Benchmark to see how fast DNS servers respond, but that's very different from checking what a DNS server will or won't allow.

 

I have no idea how legit those two sites are that you gave, but it doesn't seem like the first site checks the sites you would care about - It just confirms if ad & cookie related sites/domains are blocked or not.

My 4 helpful infos/guides: My 5G Home Internet (mobile) guide, PSU watt size guide, Wifi transmit power/range since WiFi 5, and making SSD benchmarks more meaningful.
