MATX Build

Go to solution Solved by podkall,

Is there a reason you're downsizing to a smaller case?

  • If you want quieter machine overall, consider Phantom Spirit instead of Peerless Assassin
  • Also ARCTIC fans
  • Everything looks in order, get cheaper 7600, when you enable PBO the performance difference and power draw will be very similar to 7600x (if not better in some situations)
  • RAM with tighter timings, especially CL30

Nothing wrong with that, still cost efficient. (Mini ITX is worse)

Nice I had most of that already, but switch out last second lol.
with current life stuff it’ll be easier to deal with a little smaller machine.

Mrs. Roboto would like to expand the roboto family a little so I may lose an office/game space. Saving on space in some areas is good, but don’t want to pay ITX premiums

Also why the MP44L over the MP44. I know that MP44 is the “best” of that line is the speed negligible between the MP44 and the MP44L?

hmmmm,

the MP44L has been sold many more times, and is one of the best price/performance M.2s you can find, it's write/read speeds random and sequential stay relatively consistent,

where dirt cheap drives fail this drive delivers far more while remaining relatively close to dirt cheapness.
