Is it a Gigabyte board? There was an issue with some B650 and X670 Gigabyte boards where they accidentally used old stock 2032 batteries that died pretty much right away. Regardless of if it's a Gigabyte board or not I'd replace the CMOS battery anyway. If that battery is dead, or not properly seated it will cause the Bios to reset when the system is powered off.

Try replacing the CMOS battery (the round flat battery on the motherboard).

Who knows for how long the motherboard has been laying on a shelf, so the battery might have been old already when you first bought it.

Replace the CMOS battery. Should be pretty simple, though they had an X670E board you had to completely take a part to get to the battery. Usually though it's on the bottom half of the board and usually the most you have to do is remove the GPU to get to it.

Ahh, you must have the one. I think it's the X670e Aorus Master? You have to remove the backplate they added to the motherboard then remove the chipset heatsink in order to get to the battery, and it can't be done from within a case, you have to remove the motherboard completely from the system. It's absolutely bonkers, even more so when it's one of the boards that got the wonky batteries. I know several people who got one had to swap the battery due to the issue, realized what was involved in getting the battery swapped out and opted to return the board for a different model. It's not often that you need to replace a CMOS battery but, when you do, you want it as simple as possible. I don't know which designer was smoking crack that day Gigabyte to decide to put the battery there.
