CPU and Memory Voltage.

When I first built my computer I read online that the haswell processor could not handle the voltage needed for my Kingston beast ram.

What would happen of I was to increase the voltage news for the ram in the bios?

you are fine unless you are running more than 1.65v for rams.

im running hyper xbeast on haswell

 

xmp profile suggest 1.65V for 2400mhz profile.

 

i actually need 1.71V for 2400mhz stability. ( this is true for many other memory vendors as well)
