Budget (including currency): £300 ish

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: everything

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I'm in the market for a SFF PC to hide behind my TV in the living room to play some games with my son.

I can't decide between this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CM6CKW4N/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A12EUMJJEEIVOF&psc=1

Or getting something similar to this:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/146048222503

and then sticking in a low profile 3050 or something.

It would be used for games and emulation - it's a shame the Peladn thing doesn't have oculink or something

Ok so what is the space you are working with?

Because what I've done many times is just get a used gaming pc and chuck it in a htpc case that supports atx stuff. Usually the size of a reciever.

Id avoid both since one is locked to being a igpu setup and the other hp is an old i7 system.

By a huge margin, the InWin Choppin is still the best USFF case you can get. Look pretty, good airflow and well build.

Best to know the performance minimum you need. Big difference in playing a 2D brawler game with your son or playing a demanding 3D game together.

So its going to be hooked up to a LG B9 OLED that is suffering from burn in (long story but I got a £250 refund from richer sounds after I made a song and dance)but its my living room tv for the moment until I can afford to buy something else. There's a bit of room behind because its sat on a tv unit not wall mounted or anything. I know I'm not going to be getting anywhere near 4k60 in the latest AAA titles with either of my examples (1080p 60 will be fine) but I hadn't considered a used gaming pc then putting it in a mATX or ITX case so I will look on eBay to see what I can find, might be hard to keep to my £300 budget doing it that way and that InWin case is nice but way out of my price bracket when you consider I'd then have to buy a whole rig for £175.
