upgradeing my current platform

I am looking to upgrade my system to the latest amd and i have a few questions. 1st is it worth the upgrade? My current platform is a am4 5800x3d with a 7900xt gpu. With that being said my pc is a custom hardline loop in a corsair 4000d case my cpu and gpu are cooled. I have a 240 on top and a 360 on the front and i am curious if ill have to redo my loop for the platform upgrade

If you're a gamer, then the answer is no, since the 5800X3D & 7900 XT are a great pairing that won't be troubled by any current game.

 

But, it does depend exactly what games you play, at what resolution/settings and how framerate sensitive you are.

No, not worth it at all.

 

Look at 5800X3D vs 7800X3D comparisons, and you have AMD's 2nd best card already.   I am surprised you're asking, frankly.
