Lg C3 oled

Hi, question about c3 oled, i bought it yestdray and its my first oled tv, and i read about pixel refresher, i set it on to do it manually when tv is turned off, but then my friend told me not do it manually and i turned the tv on and pixel refresher stopped. Does something happen cuz i interupted it or all is normal?
