Windows 11 Backup on Server

Hi,

I need to make a server to make a Backup (Hopefully full disk image) of a couple of Windows 11 Computers. I have an old prebuilt office computer I will use as the Server with only ~2 Tb of storage.

I don't know if it will be better to make the drives on a raid and put a different boot drive, or just leave it like different drives. And I need the Backup to be Password protected as the network is accesible to some people I don´t want to have that information.

If someone can make free or open software recommendations for the server side and the client side I will be very grateful.

Thank!

Veeam has a free version that checks all these boxes. You can also use something like disk2vhd if you want to run this manually once.

IDK how big your servers are, but 2tb fills up fast with incemental backups of multiple systmes.
