Upgrading around December

Hello,
I am looking at upgrading my GPU around December, probably at Christmas. I currently have a 1660, and was originally looking at getting a 3080 TI or maybe a used 3090 if the prices drop enough, though I was also looking at cards around the 4070 TI or 4070 TI Super range- maybe a 7900 xt or xtx as well. does anyone have any suggestions that I may be skipping? Budget is around 550$. my CPU is a 3900x, 24gb of ram, and a B450-M pro vdh. I will upgrade my PSU and Monitor as well to something 1440p and something over 750 watts.

How are you grabbing a 7900XTX for $550?

 

7900GRE or 4070 Super are around that.   

 

What's your total budget for all this?

Ive seen 7900 xtx/s around the price on deals before; there was one on amazon a few weeks ago for like 680$. albeit over budget but still.
price for PSU and GPU upgrade in total is like 750-780$

The one for $680 was a scam, and taken down the same day.  7900XTX go for $800 at the cheapest for refurbished.  I know, I bought it.

 

So realistically, you're looking at the 3080TI or 3090 used, and the 7900GRE or 4070 (maybe Super).  Obviously, can't predict Black Friday or Christmas pricing.
