I have laying around a few 3.5" HDD's and 2 2.5" hdds as well and i was wondering if there is a way to use them as external storage for USB or maybe a device that will later help me clone drives or move the data from SATA to m.2. I dont have access to Amazon or Ebay so what other options do i have. Anyone got any advice?

USB 2.5" SATA enclosures are cheap, and yes that allows for HDDs to be used externally.

3.5" HDDs require more power than the typical basic USB 2/3 can provide, so external USB enclosures for those tend to require a outlet power adapter. Not sure if there's a 3.5 enclosure that supports USB-C cable with USB 3.X that tends to provide more power.

As for retailers of such computer accessories, there's many, such as Newegg. But other major online retailers may have them as well for all I know, like Temu.
