custom resolution

Drabat

Hi ,

I just buy my first oled moniror (AW2725DF) but i got a an heavy vrr flicker sometime on game , it goes away when i disable gsync , i read i can negate that with a custom resolution ( 2560x1440@350hz) i want to try that but i cannot create it on nvidia ( option grey out) and i cannot too on CRU

Can someone explain me how can i do that ?

Thanks for the help

PS : I forget i can change the resolution on my second monitor

You can negate it by using graphics settings that ensure consistent FPS. Limiting your FPS ingame with VRR enabled might also help. So if your game only runs around 150 fps for example, then limit fps to 160 or so.

The main way some brands started to counteract VRR flicker is by reducing the VRR range, from 48-240 to 180-240 for example.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
