Hi as the title says ive been having high CPU usage during games.i have an rx 6700xt and r5 5600 and lately i am playing NFS unbound and Space Marine 2 and in both games my CPU is above 90% while my friend that has the same CPU and 6900xt has 50-60%. Also every game i play stutters!

Ive tried reinstalling windows

DDU GPU to many times

CMOS bios

(Before anybody asks)

XMP is enabled

SAM is enabled

Chipset, bios and GPU are on the latest drivers

Both temps on GPU and CPU dont go over 70° celsius(hotspot for gpu is around 80-84)

Only discord runs in the background when gaming

Rest of my rig

Cooler master 600w PSU

16gb 3200mhz ram

B450m aorus

M.2 1tb ssd

2560x1080 200hz ultrawide monitor

Btw my friend normally plays on 1440p but he tested it on 1080p and got 55-70% CPU utilization

I suspect your friend is GPU bound at 1440p, so his CPU isn't used as much as it could, whereas you have the opposite  issue

What are your respective FPS ?

NFS 80-100+

SM2 55-90

I just want to fix my problem, and i dont want to buy new parts if it is a software issue, i have been having stutters since i came home from vacation, ive posted 3 times about my problems and its always the same answers,is XMP enabled or bios updated etc, i have built like 10 PC and been troubleshooting since i was a kid but i cant figure out why my CPU is utilizing so much when everybody is saying that it shouldn't bottleneck my GPU!

Maybe bloatware/virus ?

But then it wouldn't happen only in games

Reinstalled windows 2 times, dont have any bloatware or virus

the thing is i bought a new RX 6700XT and didn't have time to test it cuz i was going on vacation, before that i didn't have stutters in my games while using my rx 6600

so that is the only thing that is telling me that my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU but then again my CPU utilization is way higher than my friend or any youtube video i see with a similiar combo
