Problem With a modding app called Curseforge

While I try to mod Minecraft a slim selection of mod packs are not installing with the error could not find java installation something. If you can help that would be greatly appreciated. I will add images soon.

Would help if you said which mods and what the exact error is. Best guess: The version of Java you have installed for Minecraft is too old and the mods require a newer one. Do you have the JAVA_HOME environment variable configured and is it pointing to the correct directory?

@Eigenvektor Its specifically  with forge mod packs on version 36 And yes I do.

I can't currently make any changes to the os because I managed to brick windows in regedit because I'm new to using regedit.
