Hello, I'm planning to upgrade my GPU from 1660 super 6GB to Sapphire Nitro+ 7700XT 12GB.

I've done some research on pcpartpicker, reddit and youtube but I need your help with general conclusion.

My current setup is:

Gigabyte B450 AORUS M

Ryzen 5 5600x 6-core

16GB Corsair Vengance 3200mHz

Gainward 1660 Super 6GB - has some issues already, glitching, stuttering, high temps..

BeQuiet 600W Pure Power 11 Gold80+

My case is midi case and has 2 front BeQuiet 140mm fans pulling air in, and one top and one back IO 120mm fans ditching warm air out of the back..

I will also be using 1440p monitor with gaming. I'm planning on playing RDR2, Witcher3 and 4 (hehe), Warhammer Space Marine 2, PoE 2, Cyberpunk, new Elder Scrolls when it comes out etc, just futureproof for new releases..)

I've just got an amazing deal on a brand new Sapphire NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT 12GB GDDR6 GPU for 370€. It was discounted for 35% from my local retailer.

Can u please tell me if this upgrade seems logical? Is 600W PSU enough (according to pcpartpicker it is enough)?

I am really avoiding any additonal costs with the upgrade, regarding new PSU and stuff.

Thank you very much, appreciate any useful info and please ask if you need any more information..

Going from a 1660 Super to a 7700XT will be a massive jump in performance 🙂

Your system will run on your Be Quiet 600w PSU without any problems.

The 5600X is also still a pretty fast CPU so you don't have to worry about any major bottleneck.

Great upgrade, happy gaming 👍👍
