Browser windows acting up

So recently I have been having an issue when using any browser like Chrome and now Opera. Where I would have two windows open, one window on one monitor and the other window on the other. And everything works fine, until I either have my PC on sleep or locked. And when I login one window would be fine, however the other one would not appear. And when I go to the task bar it would show both windows, but the other window would not work and I don't understand why that is. At first I thought it was a browser issue and switch from Chrome to Opera, but the same issue still occurs. Below is a snip of what I mean by when I go the the task bar and showing the windows.

The image below doesn't show the issue, but when it does one of those windows will not show the thumbnail of the calender. And when I hover over the window that isnt showing the thumbnail, that window doesnt show anywhere on my desktop. 

 

Hopefully someone else also has this issue too. And I think its a windows issue for sure now after trying it out with two browsers now.

do your displays happen to be displayport?

 

what most likely happens here is that on entering/exiting sleep the displays dis/reconnect, the desktop layout changes, and the window loses position.

But how does that cause for one of the windows to not work?
