My desktop was working fine yesterday and I turned it off. When I am trying to turn it on today, it is just not powering up at all. The motherboard has rgb light on. There is no error led or error code.

My specs:

- CPU: 5800x3d

- MB: Asus crosshair VIII impact

- RAM: 2×32gb oloy owl

- GPU: gigabyte 4070 ti super

- PSU: cooler master v850

A few things I tried:

- reset CMOS using the button on motherboard

- start using start button on motherboard

- plug into different outlet

- use a brand new psu

- start by shorting the start switch pin on motherboard

None of the above work and surprisingly, before I try to test with psu, it suddenly was able to power on and off for a few attempts with start button on mb. But after that, it went back to the state where nothing could boot it up.

I am asking for some help because I do not have any idea what the cause could be at this point. What are some other things I should experiment with? Any advice is appreciated!

1st of all you are not trying to boot it without a GPU are you? (pretty sure these CPUs dont have graphic, Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

Next,

Pull Ram try them 1 at a time. try it and boot it.

Do you get any codes on boot? (think 00 Is normally good on most things?)
