What to enable / do post build.

Hello i Recently bought parts for my new pc and was wondering what to enable in bios and ect. when I have finished building the pc. (I have no idea if this is the right forum btw... sorry)

Storage: Crucial P5 Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  (kr1760.00 @ Proshop)

Building the pc should be no problem as I have done it before, but wondering about things like enabling XMP (are there other things to do?). For overclocking in just thinking of using amd PBO? And for bloatware are there any recommended apps to remove them?

Hello!  Cool to see a fellow Norwegian here

In the BIOS you want to enable XMP / AMD EXPO to make your RAM run at 6000Mhz.

You have a very good system, congratulations!

 

Here is a nice video that explains how to enable PBO and do Curve Optimizer for lower temperatures and faster clock speeds.

I did this with my own 7700x and I saw 15c temperature drop and +250Mhz clock speed on all cores.
