Does Gigabyte's windforce edition 780 use the ref PCB?

As the title states, I was wondering if someone could clarify whether the Gigabyte 780's with the windforce coolers still use the reference design PCB? I had thought not but then I thought I heard slick say in his personal rig update that he was using a winforce 780 and it used the reference PCB when he mentions adding to his loop. 

 

The reason I ask is that the gigabyte windforce 780's are about $100 or so cheaper than all the other boards in my country but I already have a EKWB reference 780 block so obviously need a card with a ref PCB.

As it turns out they do not use the ref PCB, almost identical except for like one VRM in the wrong place.
