A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Component: PCI Express Root Port
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)

Primary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x1C:0x0
Secondary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x0:0x0
Primary Device Name:PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7AB8&SUBSYS_376917AA&REV_11
Secondary Device Name:

I UPDATED REALTEK DRIVER, IT SEEMS TO BE ACTUALLY DIFFERENT DEVICE ERROR NOW IDK IF THAT COULD FIX IT

image.png.884e083cfc16e07391981442bb3c86c6.png

That it's now blaming something else is weird. And it's not like networking and storage have anything in common.

It was unclear from your post if you updated the Realtek driver after seeing this, but if it fixes it then great. If it doesn't I don't really know what to suspect, maybe the motherboard. These PCIe pins go to the CPU, but you would need to have a lots of pins affected for it affect multiple different devices like this. If the shop is taking this seriously, and you are under warranty, I would just send it back saying it's still having issues.

Hey, my pc has been bluescreening every now and then, its like every 1-4weeks it bluescreens once, so its pretty rarely, but it would be nice to be able to fix it still

some specs
32gb ram

i7 14700k

rtx 4070 ti super

Could it be the first symptoms of cpu degradation?

Because it happens rarely it would be difficult to troubleshoot it, and to provoke it to find out what is causing it.

Update bios and use one of Intel's profiles.

Check the eventlog for any more clues.

Do a memtest.

Check the health of the drives, the SMART info.

Run a sfc /scannow.

Check device manager for any warnings.

Update drivers.

If the cpu has degraded there's nothing you can do except RMA it, or if you have warranty from reseller return it there.

If it degrades further you'll get more crashes and weird things happening. So that's a sign to look for.

This is a PCIe error. Could you please provide the dump files? These "easy" tools are garbage.

Instructions if you need it: Go to C:\Windows\Minidump and check if you have any minidump files. If you do, go back to the Windows folder and copy the Minidump folder itself to the Downloads folder (You can use the desktop if you don't have OneDrive syncing files). Zip the copied folder and attach it to a post. Please follow the instructions to the letter as Windows doesn't like you messing with files in this location.

Hey, here's the Minidump, hopefully it helps with this troubleshooting

Minidump.zip 894.8 kB · 1 download

The dump files gives us the ID of the PCIe port the device is connected to. It could be the port, but it's much more often the device. So open Device Manager and at the top of it, click View → Devices by Connection. Then expand ACPI X64-based PC → Microsoft ACPI-compatible system (And I'm translating from my PC in a different language so it might be slightly different on your end). Then lastly, find PCIe Root Complex and expand it. We are looking for the right root port. If you see the root ports numbered we are good to go, but if they aren't numbered you have two options (EDIT: The PCIe lookup database doesn't have these IDs yet so you need to also see the ID after the number, A74D. The PCIe lookup database is how we know which root port the ID corresponds to, but Intel often has both the root port number and PCIe ID).

Either update the Chipset driver, that should number them (No idea if this is supposed to add the ID. I have AMD and they don't even number their ports), or you have to manually check each one. You do this by right clicking on a root port (Not the device you see when expanding a root port) and selecting Properties. In the new window that pops up select the Details tab, then finding Hardware IDs in the dropdown menu. You are looking for "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A74D". 8086 is Intel, the DEV part is the device ID.

Once you have the right port, expand it to see which device is connected here.

EDIT 2: Found a picture on google showing how the root ports are hopefully shown. You see it has a Root Port number first which we can't use because the database didn't have that information, then the ID which I highlighted in red. If not, you have to check the ID manually the way explained. The ID you are looking for in that red box is A74D.

It seems to be the NVME ssd, since this is a prebuilt pc, i checked the firmware and its up to date i also checked bios etc.
Ive tried fixing the problem with a Samsung Magician Software, some people have reported that disabling some power saving thing has fixed this issue for them, but this SSD is not recognized by Samsung's software the model is, SAMSUNG MZVL41t0HBLB-00BLL.

You can try re-seating it or if you have a second M.2 port you can try that, but a faulty SSD would be my main suspect.

PCIe and CPU power at least isn't standardized, but I actually have no idea about SATA.

Update, they told me that the pc is fine, but its clearly not, also they said that since it has been on for over 400h the warranty doesnt exist anymore, which is weird????, so i guess ill have to go pick it up, and then i can try reseating the ssd or moving it to different slot by myself, this is the first and last prebuilt pc i will ever buy its so ass
