I would like to figure out which gpus require ACPI 2.0 enabled and what I can run without it cause my GTX 1080 to runs but my RTX A4000 doesn't on my i7-990x and Rampage III Extreme Mobo. I want to know what I can use in this system for gpus since I want to test something but can't because I don't have a good enough GPU for what I'm tryin to do other than these two.

try using the gtx 1080 to initialize the system so you can get the a4000 to display

tech yes city made a vid on this where a 5700xt wouldnt display on x58 but it will display when you have a secondary gpu to initialize it so you just switch the display output from the secondary gpu to the gpu you are trying to get a display out of but i cant seem to find it anymore as i forgot the exact title

i dont understand why youd want to run an a4000 on ancient x58 though cause im pretty sure you can jump to am4 with a used 50$ 3600(x) and a used ~50$ b3/450 for the price of that x58 cpu + mobo when sold used

id love to buy another 32nm especially a high bin like the 990x just to see if i can find a chip good enough to do ddr3 2900+ tri channel stable

heres my current highest freq stable with a w3680 and an x58a ud3r (need gigabyte board for mem freq due to being able to freely adjust uncore below 3:2)

im all the way in indonesia though so yeah that sucks especially since aliexpress seems to not ship to indonesia anymore so i cant just buy a ton of w3680s

yea you are screwed

think youll have to get a newer platform

I pulled my GTX 780 to from my XP system to see what I can do with that and I have no issues ... So something is up with my 1080 ti with Unreal Engine games but idk what.
