First, I'm not complaining but rather questioning.

I got a 64oz LTT Water bottle and I've had it for about a year and 10 months. Almost 2 years, and It's starting to rust around the top of the water bottle where the lid screws on. Not on the inside, but the outside where the, for lack of a better term, threads are.

I also got a 40oz water bottle last year, and it's also rusting in the exact same way.

Anyone else have this issue?

Can you post some photos? It would help the merch reps to see the issue so they can help better identify the issue.

Have you contacted the store about this issue before posting here? support@lttstore.com

If I recall correctly, these are stainless steel, depending on the grade of material would determine how much corrosion you would see and stainless doesn't rust. Typical stainless steel used in this application would be 304 and it can corrode over time, but certain conditions would need to be met in order for it to corrode.

Are you using your water bottle for liquids other than water? or are you drinking water with certain added electrolytes from treated sources?

I will post them in a little bit, I have my 64 oz one, my girlfriend has my 40 oz one.

I have not contacted them, and yes, you are correct, most stainless steel should not rust.

It's almost always just water, I can't think of anything else I've put in these aside from maybe gatorade, but the rust started before I ever did that.

It's very strange, and I don't really understand it.
