Case Replacement Recommendations - Smaller Size/Formfactor

Hello!

I was looking to get some help on getting some recommendations for a smaller case for my build. My current one uses a Corsair 4000D and just is huge and was hoping to get it smaller, as well as probably upgrade to noctua fans.

Currently my HW is the following that I would like to keep;

  • Asrock B550M Pro
  • GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Ventus
  • 64GB DDR4 RAM
  • 2 SSDs & M.2
  • EVGA 750w Semi-Modular (if needing to change, I am fine with this being changed)

With the CPU cooler it is using some AIO that's 280mm but I wouldn't care if switching to an air cooler or doing a smaller aio would be better as well. Mainly just wanting to get this HW from this massive case into something significantly smaller, upgrade the fans, and maybe the CPU cooler along the way. Maybe to full air cooling, or if for the smaller form factor water cooling is necessary can keep it this way as well. I was looking at some of the smaller form factor cases from Fractal that seemed good and could? work for my build at least according to PCPartPicker but not sure of their ease of building/cooling for what I have currently.

So yeah that's pretty much it, thanks!

Hi buddy,

Just confirming the Mobo is uATX?

If so, why don't you look at either the Corsair 280x or the Thermaltake Tower 200. You could also look at the o11 Mini.

I've got a great build in a 280x with 3 x 240mm rads and a custom loop. I think it also allows for 280mm rads (top only)

Would the Pop Air be small enough?

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
