Budget (including currency): Around 1300$ with some wiggle room.

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly going to be used for gaming. Some Destiny 2, COD, maybe the occasional modded Minecraft or Terraria.

Looking to run 1440p 144hz if I can. Not including peripherals, but some advice on what to look for in that regard would be appreciated as well. Here's my part list.

Seems really good, but this is a C tier PSU, which you should not get for a build at this cost. The adata xpg core reactor 850W costs slightly more, but is a good A tier power supply. I would also rather get the 7900 GRE, it has more VRAM, better performance and costs less

That's a different PSU, the GF A3 is a B tier unit

As for the actual built, it's pretty good. The only thing I'd want to change is the motherboard as it is absolutely terrible (it doesn't even support PBO, it's an A620 board masquarading as a B650 board), and for $5 more you can get a much better board with the ASRock B650M Pro RS.

Can vouch for the asrock b650m pro rs , Its a really nice board with alot of features for the price.

It also happens to boot a hell of alot faster than my MSI B650m-a gaming wifi with expo enabled.

Why was your guess wrong though? Doesn't it say that every PSU equal or less than 1200W should count?

Thermaltake has a ton of PSUs starting with GF. This model is the "GF A3" model which would fall under B-tier.

How long does it take you to boot? I used it in a build, at it takes like 5 minutes to boot to bios, though I've got to still try the fixes I've found, it still seems quite long

yeah the GF A3 speculative B tier unit,

but...

It's ATX 3.0, so it doesn't really matter what tier it is as long as it's not garbage.

This is faster:

But if you need Nvidia for some reason or another, it's fine too.

Also the rest of the parts, the P3 Plus is not a bad SSD,

the Phantom Spirit is actually quieter than Peerless,

and the MB has stronger VRM.

My partner has been having this problem since we built their new rig with this exact mobo. SUPER annoying. Been hoping for a BIOS update to fix it but haven't gotten around to testing
