Which keyboard?

Keyboard A: CM storm Quick Fire TK

 

Keyboard B: Duck Zero DK 2108

 

Pros of CM

• Back light 
• Smaller but with full functionality 

Pros of Ducky

• It is a duck 
• Full layout (wouldn't have to break habits)
• More customization in terms of key caps (which I want to do in the future).
• Wouldn't really miss the back lights. 
• Price.

When you look at the pros of the Ducky it looks like a no brainer, but I want peoples opinions.

np bro, i personlay was going with the cm but then i got a good deal on the g710+ and got that, you can find the g710+ for like 100$ on ebay

It is hard here in Britain to find keyboard, barely any have uk layout.

those are the two best i could find, my ideal keybaord would be a tkl non backlit but they don't exist...

quickfire storm is TKL without a backlight. I have one. my only complaint is that the metal backplane has a ring that I have yet to disassemble and dampen because I like my warranty.

I don't know if you like MO, but most of the time I go with the looks, like my mom always told me if you don't like it in the store *aka the website* you won't use it. So I tend to just 'get used to' the little bad Things it does. 

 

edit: way off post, I would go with CM for the simple fact of how it looks 'hint hint' and how well I heard it preforms, which key caps are you getting?

Keyboard Co does have some TKL non-backlit Filcos, but you will be paying more than either of these board.

 

Its really upto you. 

TK has the backlight if you like that and smaller footprint, but does cost more.

Ducky is probably more well regarded for build quality as a whole, and should be far easier to get caps for the entire board.

 

I went TK due to space, I got mine a little cheaper than that link from Scan and also I wanted a white board with backlight.

Only real downside of the TK is swapping between numpad/arrows can be annoying, but only if you use them both extensively. I stick it in Arrows and leave it for the most part.

That and the keys for swapping them, but that is a far smaller problem.
